Responsibilities
-Manage daily accounting operations
-Process and reconcile Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
-Handle bi-weekly payroll processing in compliance with current employment standards
-Prepare month-end journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
-File HST, source deductions, and other statutory remittances accurately and on time
-Assist with T4, T5, and other year-end reporting requirements
Qualifications
-Proven accounting experience
-Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Online (mandatory)
-Experience with payroll processing and tax filings (HST, source deductions, T4s, etc.)
-Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, reconciliations)
-Strong knowledge of accounting standards and payroll regulations
-Highly detail-oriented, organized, and self-directed
