We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Applications Architect to provide executive-level technical leadership, system architecture design, and deployment governance for large-scale enterprise Human Capital Management (HCM) software modernization initiatives. In this role, you will take hands-on technical ownership of transforming complex operational business specifications into secure, high-performance platform blueprints. Responsibilities
Enterprise Architecture Leadership: Provide deep technical expertise and leadership to manage the planning, logical design, and implementation of architecture solutions across complex, multi-year information technology initiatives.
Technical Solution Engineering: Lead technical delivery squads through the full development lifecycle to design and construct robust, scalable system enhancements within the enterprise HCM platform ecosystem.
Platform Upgrade Architecture: Oversee and guide technical tracks specializing in complex, multi-tiered enterprise PeopleSoft HCM upgrades to maximize environment stability and security.
Interface & Modern UI Architecture: Architect responsive user interaction frameworks, managing configuration models across both Fluid and Classic Plus user interface structures.
Functional Integration Management: Resolve intricate system integration and backend communication issues to ensure stable data-sharing linkages across core modules, including Core HR, Payroll, Benefits Administration, Absence Management, and Time and Labour.
Governance & Standards Definition: Formulate, evaluate, and enforce enterprise-level architecture policies, logical guidelines, and design best practices to ensure alignment with corporate IT compliance rules.
Strategic Alternatives Formulation: Research, analyze, and recommend innovative systems architecture alternatives, data transition roadmaps, and system optimization strategies to executive decision-makers.
Risk Mitigation & Advisory: Identify potential single points of failure, resolve high-priority architecture bottlenecks, and provide expert technical counsel to minimize strategic operational risks.
Qualifications
Core Architecture Seniority: 10+ years of progressive professional experience leading enterprise applications architecture, systems analysis, and technology blueprinting for large-scale initiatives.
Technical Team Leadership: Proven experience leading cross-functional technical teams through technical analysis, system design, and execution phases for entire project lifecycles.
PeopleSoft HCM Upgrade Expertise: In-depth, hands-on master-level knowledge and verified experience architecting and executing PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 upgrades.
Advanced User Interface Acumen: Solid practical understanding of the PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 suite with explicit design and implementation experience utilizing Fluid and Classic Plus user interfaces.
Functional Module Literacy: Deep architectural understanding of end-to-end HR and Payroll processes, including hands-on data linking for Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Absence Management, and Time and Labour.
Integration & Triage Acumen: Demonstrated success resolving complex application dependency issues, multi-system integration blockages, and platform communication failures.
Communication & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an established background presenting option analyses, logical specifications, and technical designs to diverse stakeholders.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or an approved equivalent combination of education and senior professional architecture experience..
