We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to lead end-to-end business analysis for complex systems development initiatives. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business operations and technical delivery teams by assessing core business challenges, facilitating requirements gathering workshops, and defining functional and technical specifications. Leveraging expertise in rules engines and business process automation platforms, you will create conceptual models, map data flows, and establish clear technical specifications to ensure solutions align strictly with organizational standards and strategic goals.

Responsibilities
Lead and execute comprehensive business analysis to evaluate business opportunities, solve technical challenges, and document clear business requirements.
Drive systems development initiatives supported by business process automation platforms and rules engine technologies.
Conduct JAD sessions, stakeholder interviews, and workshops to elicit, analyze, and validate functional, technical, and non-functional requirements.
Develop business models, use case models, conceptual and logical data models, process flows, data flow diagrams, and test cases.
Define business rules, use case surveys, and system boundary conditions to establish detailed specifications for development teams.
Apply business process re-engineering principles to optimize workflows and identify cost-effective service delivery approaches.
Author feasibility studies, business cases, cost-benefit analyses, briefing notes, and stakeholder presentations to justify IT investments.
Build traceability matrices, define performance measures, track project milestones, and support ongoing risk management.
Qualifications
Business Analysis Seniority: Extensive experience leading business analysis activities to assess business problems and author detailed technical requirements (Strictly Required).
Rules Engine & Automation Experience: Demonstrated experience in business analysis supporting systems development using a rules engine or business process automation platform (Strictly Required).
Comprehensive Artifact Development: Hands-on experience creating business models, use case models, conceptual/logical data models, process/data flow diagrams, test cases, and non-functional requirements (Strictly Required).
Requirements Elicitation Mastery: Proven background leading JAD sessions, interviews, and workshops to capture business rules, use case surveys, and functional specifications.
Re-Engineering & Feasibility Analysis: Direct experience applying business process re-engineering concepts, writing business cases, and conducting cost-benefit analyses.
Soft Skills: Superior analytical problem-solving, negotiation, presentation, and written/verbal communication skills.
Desirable Assets:
Experience using CASE tools or information retrieval packages to document conceptual requirements.
Knowledge of structured, object-oriented, and Agile methodologies.
Awareness of digital accessibility standards (such as AODA/WCAG guidelines).
