Are you a seasoned Senior Oracle Database Administrator with 10+ years of experience to join a dynamic infrastructure team supporting critical database environments. Our Client is looking for a Senior Database Administrator for a contract term of 9 months, this is a hybrid role (3 days onsite at 222 Jarvis St đ, 2 days remote) requiring hands-on expertise and proactive database lifecycle management.

Responsibilities
âą Design, install, configure, and maintain Oracle 12c/19c RAC environments using ASM
âą Administer and tune multi-tenant Oracle databases hosted on public cloud platforms
âą Configure Oracle Dataguard for physical/logical standby databases
âą Perform RMAN backup and restore operations
âą Implement database encryption using ASO/TDE
âą Manage Oracle Enterprise Manager 19c for alerting, reporting, and performance oversight
âą Execute SQL optimization and performance tuning
âą Automate tasks using UNIX shell scripting
âą Support onboarding of new applications into the Shared Utility Service database hosting environment
âą Maintain configuration compliance and perform database health checks
âą Monitor OEM alerts and proactively resolve database incidents
âą Perform incident, change, and configuration management using established ITSM processes
Qualifications
Must Have
âą 10+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA
âą Proficiency in Oracle 12c & 19c multi-tenant architecture
âą Strong experience with RAC, ASM, and Grid Infrastructure
âą Expertise with Oracle Dataguard (physical/logical setup and maintenance)
âą RMAN backup and restore proficiency
âą Implementation of ASO/TDE encryption for Oracle databases
âą Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 19c configuration and management
âą Strong UNIX shell scripting and SQL tuning experience
âą Experience with Oracle DB hosting on public cloud services
âą Experience with MS SQL Server configuration and support
Nice to Have
â Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
â Knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate, Advanced Compression, and Partitioning
â Experience with DB2 to Oracle migrations
â Familiarity with Oracle Engineered Systems and Solaris server environments
â Understanding of OPS infrastructure standards and ITSM processes
â Experience with Oracle auditing and alerting tools
â Awareness of emerging trends in database technology
