Responsibilities
- Full Accounting Cycle: Preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and review of the technical team's work.
- Analysis & Budgeting: Variance analysis (actual vs. budget), monitoring key performance indicators (EBITDA, margins), and participation in forecasting.
- Compliance & Audit: Management of audits, sales taxes (GST/QST), income tax provisions, and year-end files.
- Operations & Projects: Asset management (CAPEX, inventory), cash flow planning, and support for ERP system improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting;
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role;
- Advanced proficiency in Excel;
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines;
- Sound knowledge of ERP systems;
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic and demanding team environment;
- Bilingualism, both oral and written (French/English)*
*As the company conducts a significant portion of its business outside of Quebec, the incumbent will be required to communicate regularly with English-speaking stakeholders. Consequently, proficiency in English (both oral and written) is an essential requirement.
