We're looking for a strategic, creative, and highly organized Manager, Partnerships to join our client's marketing team on a freelance/contract basis through the end of 2025. In this pivotal role, you'll lead the development, delivery, and optimization of experiential marketing, sampling, and brand merchandise partnerships and channel activations. Responsibilities
Lead strategic partnerships: Develop and execute a partnership and merchandise strategy to build the brand, focusing on "culturally relevant drops" and "bold collaborations."
Manage partnerships from concept to execution: Oversee the entire lifecycle of a partnership, including identifying and vetting potential collaborators, leading negotiations, and managing contracts.
Drive merchandise collaborations: Develop and manage "surprise-and-delight merch drops" to get products into consumers' hands and generate brand buzz.
Oversee day-to-day operations: Manage the daily execution of sampling programs, experiential vendors, and merch partners, including timelines, budgets, and logistics.
Analyze and report on performance: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver clear reports to measure the success of partnerships and optimize future initiatives.
Qualifications
We're looking for a professional with:
7 plus years of experience in partnerships, experiential or brand activation roles.
Proven experience managing agency teams and working effectively with cross-functional partners.
Strong project management skills with the ability to negotiate SOW and contracts
Excellent relationship-building skills for seamless collaboration with agencies and brand stakeholders.
A creative problem-solver and strategic thinker with a strong work ethic.
The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.
A self-starter mindset who can take initiative and manage projects from start to finish.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey channel recommendations and optimizations clearly and relevantly to various audiences.
