Responsibilities
Design and document robust, scalable, and reusable platform components that align with business needs.
Act as the technical lead for the delivery team; supervise implementation, preserve design integrity, and intervene on complex components.
Configure continuous development and deployment (DevOps) tools and environments to optimize efficiency.
Promote the reuse of components and participate in the selection of software packages or cloud services.
Collaborate closely with architects to ensure solutions are consistent with strategic orientations.
Conduct technology watch and contribute to the operational support of the platforms.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Information Technology, with at least 2 years specifically in platform engineering.
Mastery of techniques, frameworks, and methodologies specific to platform engineering.
Confirmed experience with continuous deployment concepts and tools (DevOps) and automation tools, specifically Ansible Automation Platform.
Natural technical leadership with a proven ability to influence, guide, and mentor delivery teams.
Excellent communication and technical simplification skills, with a strong analytical mind.
Mandatory proficiency in French (oral and written). English is an asset.
**Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties.
Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to interact with centralized internal departments (e.g., Operations / HR / Finance / Legal / Contracts / Sales) that support the organization in Canada and that do not speak French.**
