*Please note that this position requires frequent travel, so the person could be based in Guelph or another nearby location within their business sector.
As a Senior Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for executing strategic sales initiatives, nurturing key client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within your assigned territory.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and market penetration goals
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and client engagement
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers across customer organizations
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product development, operations) to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements in alignment with company policies and margin targets
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and maintain up-to-date records in CRM system
- Act as a subject matter expert on packaging solutions, offering insights and recommendations to clients
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings

- Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in the packaging, manufacturing, or automotive industry
- Customer-centric approach: Recognize and address customer needs, interests, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and secure new businesses.
- Strong understanding of technical sales and solution-based selling
- Expertise in understanding Cascades' offerings, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and serving as a market expert to promote positive company image and cultivate long-term customer relationships
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and ability to maintain superior market knowledge
- Proficiency in CRM tools and ERP system
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region
