Responsibilities
Strategic Risk Assessment: Lead the end-to-end vulnerability management process, evaluating infrastructure risks using CVE/CVSS frameworks.
Security Automation: Develop and maintain sophisticated Python scripts to automate data transformation, API integrations, and real-time security dashboards.
Remediation Leadership: Coordinate with cross-functional technical teams to drive the resolution of security flaws and configuration gaps based on CIS benchmarks.
Lifecycle Governance: Monitor and manage risks associated with technology obsolescence and end-of-life (EOL) hardware and software.
Stakeholder Influence: Translate complex technical risks into clear, actionable insights for both executive leadership and technical operations teams.
Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 7 years in information security, with a specialized focus on vulnerability remediation within large-scale, complex environments.
Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of vulnerability scoring (CVSS), configuration hardening standards, and infrastructure security.
Programming: Advanced proficiency in Python for security orchestration and automated reporting.
Tooling: Hands-on expertise with enterprise security platforms (e.g., Tenable, Qualys, CrowdStrike, or Prisma Cloud).
Systems Knowledge: Strong grasp of networking protocols, OS internals, and cloud security architecture.
Education/Certification: A University degree in a related field; CISSP or CEH certifications are considered strong assets.
Language: Professional fluency in both English and French.
Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to interact with centralized internal departments (e.g., Operations / HR / Finance / Legal / Contracts / Sales) that support the organization in Canada and that do not speak French.
