This mandate is tailored for a real-time systems expert accustomed to working in highly critical and regulated sectors. You will be tasked with designing and optimizing low-level software leveraging the capabilities of advanced microprocessors. This is a 6-month contract with an immediate start date. The role requires an on-site presence based on project phase requirements at the Greater Montreal offices.

Responsibilities
Design and develop robust embedded software for complex systems requiring maximum reliability.
Integrate and optimize real-time operating systems RTOS on specific hardware architectures.
Leverage the capabilities of ARM Cortex A53 processors to maximize the performance of industrial applications.
Ensure all software solutions meet the stringent safety and quality standards inherent to critical environments.
Collaborate seamlessly with hardware engineering squads to ensure perfect cohesion between physical components and embedded code.
Produce comprehensive technical documentation to support continuous testing and validation phases.
Qualifications
Possess between 5 and 10 years of recent and relevant experience in embedded software engineering.
Demonstrate deep expertise in the application and integration of real-time operating systems RTOS.
Master software development specifically targeted for ARM Cortex A53 processors.
Have recent professional background in highly regulated sectors such as aerospace, medical devices, or the automotive industry.
Excel at communicating complex technical information clearly and effectively.
Essential bilingualism in French and English to interact seamlessly both verbally and in writing with all stakeholders.
**Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties.
Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to interact with centralized internal departments (e.g., Operations / HR / Finance / Legal / Contracts / Sales) that support the organization in Canada and that do not speak French.**
