Are you an experienced QA professional with a strong background in Agile methodologies, automated testing tools, and public sector healthcare systems? Our client is seeking a Systems Testing/QA Specialist with over 5 years of expertise in system and user acceptance testing for web applications in DevOps environments. Responsibilities
âą Participate in requirements walkthroughs and analyze documentation such as Use Cases, User Stories, and Journey Maps
âą Design and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases for web applications
âą Execute system and user acceptance testing (UAT) aligned with Agile practices
âą Develop automated test scripts using tools like Selenium or SOAP UI
âą Analyze test data requirements and build appropriate test data sets
âą Validate system outcomes using SQL and log results with defect management tools
âą Collaborate with scrum teams and support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and issue resolution
âą Provide feedback on system variances and support root cause analysis
âą Maintain central documentation repositories and track QA artefacts
âą Support stakeholder communication and provide weekly testing progress reports
âą Deliver knowledge transfer sessions to internal teams
Qualifications
â
Must Have:
âą 5+ years of experience in QA testing for web applications in Agile/DevOps settings
âą Strong skills in test planning, case creation, system testing, and UAT execution
âą Hands-on experience with Git, Azure DevOps, IBM CLI for CI/CD workflows
âą Proficiency in defect tracking using Azure DevOps, JIRA, or ClearQuest
âą Experience analyzing complex business and technical requirements
âą Familiarity with writing user stories, managing product backlogs, and sprint cycles
âą SQL knowledge for data validation
âą Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
â Nice to Have:
đ§Ș Automated testing experience using Selenium or SOAP UI
đ„ Background in public sector healthcare projects or clinical IT systems
đ Familiarity with provincial immunization systems and registry integrations
đ Knowledge of government project methodologies like OPS Unified I&IT
đ Experience working with performance and security testing tools
