Responsibilities
Supervise the high-level design of data pipeline infrastructure on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Lead detailed design discussions and conduct code reviews with an external development partner to ensure solutions meet quality and scalability standards.
Define data loading strategies for new sources and own the enhancement of the data testing framework.
Collaborate with data architects to implement data contracts for both ingestion and publication of data.
Integrate data pipelines with CI/CD processes and scheduling tools.
Champion data management best practices, optimizing the use of tools for data quality, cataloging, and lineage.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar senior technical role.
Advanced knowledge of data management best practices, data architecture, data modeling, and data quality principles.
Mastery of SQL and extensive hands-on experience with the Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly its data products.
GCP certifications in Data Engineering or Data Architecture are required.
Proven ability to be proactive, autonomous, and adaptable in a transformative environment with an evolving technology stack.
Excellent proficiency in English is mandatory. Professional fluency in French is a strong asset.
Asset: Knowledge of the wealth management or investment industry.
