Location: Nisku, AB (Climate-Controlled Shop)
Shift: Monday – Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (The 4x10 "Gold Standard")
Wage negotiable based on jacketed expertise
...
We aren't looking for a ticket; we are looking for talent. Our Nisku facility is scaling up production on custom, multi-layered jacketed piping systems. This isn’t standard process piping—it’s high-stakes, precision fabrication. We need a specialist who understands internal fit-ups, thermal expansion gaps, and the "why" behind every spacer.
If you are the person other fitters go to when a build gets complicated, we want you on our floor.
Advantages
3-Day Weekends: Every single week.
Wealth Building: 3% RRSP matching (after 1 year).
Fast-Track Benefits: Comprehensive health coverage and 2 weeks vacation after 4 months.
Stability: Long-term project backlog in a clean, indoor environment.
Responsibilities
Lead Jacketed Fab: Own the assembly of "pipe-within-a-pipe" systems, ensuring the core is perfect before the jacket goes on.
Precision Fit-Ups: Execute critical weld prep on jacketed crosses, tees, and elbows where you only get one shot to get it right.
Blueprint Mastery: Move beyond standard ISOs; interpret sophisticated P&ID and GA drawings specifically for jacketed thermal spacing.
Testing Authority: Oversee high-pressure hydrostatic and pneumatic tests for both core and jacket integrity.
Qualifications
Jacketed Expertise: You have direct, hands-on experience with jacketed piping (offsets, spacers, and internal alignment).
The "Pro’s Pro" Mindset: Expert knowledge of flange bolt patterns, torque sequences, and high-pressure sealing surfaces.
Integrity: A "first-time right" approach. You don't just find leaks; you prevent them.
Reliability: You have your own transportation to Nisku and a grit-heavy work ethic.
