Are you able to complete precision welding in a medium or fast-paced manufacturing environment? Do you have experience reproducing welds as per blueprints? If this sounds like something you’re interested in, see the details below!ADVANTAGESADVANTAGES•Permanent opportunity with a company that is looking for someone to grow and expand with•Pay range of $23.50-$30 based on experience•3 weeks vacation•Comprehensive benefits packageRESPONSIBILITIESRESPONSIBILITIES• A good comprehensive understanding of reading blueprints and shop drawings to determine materials needed•Ensuring that enough material is available and ordering additional material as needed•Maintaining a consistent weld•Operate standard shop machineries such as brake press, punch, CNC lathe, and mill•Keep a focus on health and safety for yourself and those around youQUALIFICATIONSQUALIFICATIONS•Minimum 5 years of experience•Experience working with a press brake, and other handheld and machine shop tools•Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis•Ability to read and interpret engineering drawingsQualifications• Journeyman Welder or Red Seal Ticket Journeyman• Valid B Pressure Ticket• CSTS 09• WHMIS 2015• Valid driver's license• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing• Able to work well under pressure• Strong attention to detail• Ability to work independently in a demanding environment• Ability to identify all techniques of welding (GTAW, GMAW, etc.), and know all properties of various types of metal and how heat affects them• Experience in maintenance processes an asset• Ability to take direction and follow through on instructions• Positive attitude toward safety• Ability to work collaboratively with a positive attitude• Superior written and verbal communication skillsSUMMARYSUMMARYIf you or anyone you know is interested, apply right away.
