Position Details
Title : Forklift operator
Location: Ottawa, ON
Hourly Rate: $20.00 – $22.00 / hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Duration: Temporary (Immediate start through July 31, 2026)

Responsibilities
Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse machinery, specifically a stand-up reach forklift, to move, stack, and transport stock efficiently.
Receiving & Inspection: Unload incoming shipments, inspect goods against invoices, record quantities, and update inventory systems.
Stocking & Inventory Control: Store items in designated areas, optimize space, conduct regular cycle counts, and report discrepancies.
Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, securely pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipping with proper documentation.
Shipping & Logistics: Coordinate carrier pickups, generate shipping labels, track orders, and process returns when required.
Safety & Maintenance: Keep work areas clean and adhere strictly to safety protocols.
Qualifications
Must be Forklift Certified with proven experience operating a stand-up reach forklift.
Previous experience as a Warehouse Associate or in a similar distribution environment.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to physically perform tasks including standing, bending, stretching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
Requirement: Must be able to pass a background/criminal record check.
