Responsibilities
As a Senior Estimator, your mission will consist of taking charge of the strategic aspect of submissions. Your tasks will include:
Detailed analysis of plans and specifications for general contractor and/or formwork components.
Accurate calculation of material and labor quantities.
Development of preliminary budgets and preparation of submission schedules (bordereaux de soumission) via the TPL software.
Soliciting and rigorously analyzing subcontractor and supplier submissions.
Ensuring a clear and complete transfer of relevant information to the project management team after a contract is awarded.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, we are looking for a senior profile capable of operating with a high level of autonomy:
A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in an estimation role , ideally for a general contractor or a company specializing in concrete structures or civil engineering.
A college or university degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Estimation, or equivalent experience.
Excellent proficiency with Office Suite, TPL, and Bluebeam software.
Impeccable mastery of the French language , both oral and written. Knowledge of English is an asset.
Strong analytical ability, developed critical sense, and great rigor.
