I am recruiting for a detail oriented Inventory Controller to oversee global inventory management, valuation, and financial reporting. This role is a blend of technical accounting and operational collaboration.

Responsibilities
* partner with manufacturing, supply chain, & purchasing to optimize costing and inventory flow
* provide actionable financial analysis to support strategic business decisions
* strengthen intergration between Finance and global operations
* maintain and audit cost data within the ERP system - Standard Costing, FIFO and replacement costs - experience required
* establish and refine inventory policies to ensure robust financial controls
* lead and organization physical inventory counts across multiple facilities
* manage global inventory valuations and reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP
* managed fixed assets, budgeting and cost oversight for Canada sites
Qualifications
* CPA designated
* deep understanding of invenotry accounting & standard costing
* ability to perform complex profitability analysis and investigate variances
* comfortable managing reporting for entities across different countries (with a focus on Canada & USA)
* a strong communicator who can bridge the gap between finance and floor operations
* proven experience working in a manufacturing environment
