Responsibilities
**Collections & Portfolio Management**
* Manage an assigned portfolio of customer accounts.
* Perform regular follow-ups on outstanding balances via phone calls and written correspondence.
* Forecast monthly cash collections and support departmental collection and DSO targets.
* Monitor delinquent accounts and recommend appropriate collection strategies.
* Escalate collection issues as required
* Maintain accurate documentation of collection activities and customer commitments.
**Account Reconciliation & Customer Service**
* Investigate and resolve billing disputes and payment discrepancies.
* Reconcile customer accounts and identify outstanding issues.
* Work collaboratively with Sales, Billing, and Accounts Receivable teams to resolve payment delays.
* Respond to internal and external customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
* Distribute statements of account and payment reminders.
**Reporting & Administration**
* Prepare collection reports and portfolio updates.
* Maintain accurate account notes and customer records.
* Assist with month-end activities related to collections.
* Support special collection projects and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
**Qualifications**
* Minimum 2 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or customer account management.
* Postsecondary education in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
* Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, verbal, and written communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
* Intermediate Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
* Experience in media, advertising, or a high-volume accounts receivable environment is considered an asset.
