Our client has been one the trusted names in their industry for almost 100 years, and is recognized worldwide for their innovative products. We're looking a millwright or maintenance tech who takes pride in their work and loves "rolling up their sleeves".
We're looking for someone with maintenance experience. Journeyman / Red Seal millwrights preferred, but we're also open to Pipefitters with millwright experience and un-ticketed millwrights with experience in manufacturing maintenance.

Journeyman / Red Seal rate: $38.33 an hour ($39.09 in April 2024) + $1.20 night shift premium
un-ticketed: 26.38/hour
Shift: 12 hour shift 7 - 7 rotational. OT available
Full medical / vision / dental / etc covered 100% by company
2 weeks vacation
Annual allowance: Tool $275, Boot $275, Hearing / PPE $100
Must have basic tools
Relocation reimbursement: open to discussion
RRSP, after 12 months: employee contributes 2%, company contributes 4%

Responsibilities
What you'll be doing:
• Maintenance and repair of conveyors, assorted pumps, valves, pneumatics, basic electrical, and some welding.
• Monthly participation in plant improvement projects.
• Responding to work orders promptly and efficiently.
• Adhering to safety protocols and ensuring a safe working environment. Abide by all Health & Safety rules, safe practices and requirements laid out by company procedures
• Help minimize equipment downtime by reacting quickly to equipment issues
Qualifications
What you bring:
Journeyman or Red Seal millwright ticket preferred.
Experience in conveyors, pumps, valves, pneumatics, basic electrical, and welding.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
We are looking for individuals who are willing to learn, possess a team-player mentality, and are committed to a long-term position. The job is fast-paced and can be high-stress, so reliability and adaptability are crucial. While we are seeking a Maintenance Millwright, we welcome applicants with experience in related fields such as pipefitting or welding, provided they also have millwright experience.
