Requirement Leadership: Lead detailed requirement phases; identify, track, and resolve complex business systems issues.
Process Engineering: Create and lead the development of current and future-state process maps to facilitate gap analysis and training.
Project Governance: Manage critical documentation including implementation plans, issues logs, FTE analysis, and risk mitigation strategies.
Stakeholder Facilitation: Act as a consultant to business partners, facilitating sessions to extract needs and build consensus on recommended solutions.
Implementation & Training: Develop strategic training plans for new processes and provide expert guidance during the business user testing (UAT) phase.
Risk Management: Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation recommendations to ensure projects remain on time and within budget.
Qualifications
Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree; a specialization in Business, Finance, Engineering, or Sciences is highly desirable.
Experience: 3–6 years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst, specifically within a formal Project Life Cycle (PLC).
Industry Knowledge: Experience in Financial Services or the Information Technology field is considered a strong asset.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in process modeling/mapping and desktop applications (MS Project, Excel, Database tools).
Certifications: A recognized Business Analyst designation (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA) is an asset.
Core Competencies: Proven ability to handle ambiguity, advanced conflict resolution skills, and the capacity to lead discussions at the executive sponsor level.
