Responsibilities
You are not going to be stuck just sweeping floors or fetching tools; you will be right in the action working alongside experienced journeymen. Prepare to build your capabilities in:
- Heavy-Duty Flux-Core: Achieve total proficiency with FCAW and MCAW processes (Flat Position) on heavy-duty projects.
- Large-Scale Construction: Assemble and weld massive steel I-beams, intricate tower sections, and a variety of bespoke structural components.
- Specialized Fabrication: Gain hands-on experience utilizing complex custom jigs and executing advanced standoff welding procedures.
- Industry-Leading Safety: Immerse yourself in a workspace that teaches the absolute highest standards of safe manufacturing practices.
Qualifications
Official Apprenticeship Status: You must be actively registered as a first-year apprentice welder.
Documented Experience: We need to see a minimum of 100 verifiable hours already officially recorded in your apprenticeship Bluebook.
Technical Foundation: Previous hands-on exposure to FCAW,/MCAW, or standard MIG welding processes is highly preferred.
Work Ethic and Drive: We need someone who shows up on time, works dependably, and is eager to soak up new knowledge like a sponge.
Standout Advantage: Do you already hold an active CWB Certification? If so, your application will immediately jump to the top of our pile.
