Responsibilities
-Execute scheduled preventative maintenance, overhauls, and MTO safety inspections in the Etobicoke shop, while responding to mobile field breakdown calls across active GTA job sites.
-Troubleshoot diesel engines, complex electrical systems, air brakes, and high-pressure hydraulics using CAT SIS and Jaltest diagnostic systems.
- Rebuild and overhaul hydraulic pumps, control valves, cylinders, PTOs, drivetrains, and final drives.
Dual-Fleet Scope:
-Excavators, loaders, dozers, asphalt pavers, rollers, graders, and heavy tri-axle dump trucks.
-Commercial highway snowplows, salt spreaders, and anti-icing systems.
Qualifications
-310T or 421A License
-Valid Driver’s License with a clean abstract to operate the company mobile service truck.
-6+ years of hands-on diagnostic experience working on heavy diesel trucks, civil construction equipment, or municipal fleets.
-Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues independently both in the shop and on field calls.
