Responsibilities
-Install, repair, and maintain liftgate hydraulics and air systems as a Trailer Mechanic in Hamilton East.
-Diagnose malfunctions and perform vehicle/trailer installations and repairs.
-Ensure repairs effectively resolve issues by testing trailers and vehicles.
-Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work area.
-Provide guidance and direction to mechanic assistants.
-Undertake additional duties as required to support the service department.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as a truck & trailer mechanic
-Knowledge of welding and cutting of metals
-Superior mechanical aptitude and ability to solve problems
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-Proficiency with computerized systems
-Valid G license and 310T or 310J license
