Responsibilities
Contribute to the processing of accounts payable and support operational teams in creating purchase orders.
Participate in accounts receivable management by supporting operational teams in tracking payments and preparing quotes.
Review accounts payable and accounts receivable reports (such as aging balances and account statements) and explain any discrepancies.
Collaborate on accounting reconciliation activities (approvals, debits, expense reports).
Be involved in the payment process for suppliers, both locally and internationally, by validating amounts with operational teams.
Record accounting entries as work progresses.
Answer general questions from users of the accounting system within the Group.
Qualifications
College or university degree in accounting
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position
Proficiency in Office 365 tools, particularly Excel at an intermediate level
Very good knowledge of accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Concur are assets)
Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English
