Responsibilities
- Reconcile, Balance and Maintain A/R, A/P & General Ledgers including
filing of all related documents
- Match Purchase orders with Invoices and create Customer Invoice
- Follow-up and prepare reports on Accounts Receivable and maintain
Vendor Payments
- Prepare bank reconciliation, bank deposits, pay Vendor Invoices and
track bank balances
- Daily Accounting processes, bringing monthly close to trial balance and
year-end close
- Prepare and enter data into PLEX ERP system including Accounts
Payable, Accounts Receivable Invoices
- Government remittances calculation and timely remittances of HST,
WSIB, Benefits etc.
- Preparing final year-end financial package for tax returns and audit
purposes
- Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
- Assume other responsibilities and tasks as assigned to meet the ongoing
needs of the Company
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in full cycle Accounting
(minimum 5 year)
- Must be from Manufacturing Industry
- Experience in book-keeping will be preferred
- Must be working towards an accounting designation
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact in English
- Must be fully proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel, ERP
Software, QuickBooks
Requires little supervision on routine tasks
