Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, analyze variances and support decision-making.
- Perform month-end accounting entries (depreciation, prepaid expenses, etc.).
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Enter and code customer invoices for various business lines (vehicles, events, catering).
- Monitor accounts receivable, vehicle sales and events.
- Manage the production of sales tax returns and year-end tax documents.
- Collaborate in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Maintain rigorous and structured accounting documentation.
- Support internal stakeholders with reliable and relevant financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting.
- Bilingual French/English, written and spoken.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Sage 50 / Simply Accounting (an asset).
- Experience with ERP implementation (an asset).
- Strong analytical skills, rigor, autonomy and team spirit.
- Interest in or knowledge of the automotive industry: an advantage.
