You will be working closely with the Senior Administrative Assistant and have access to an internal accounting manual. The primary responsibility is to ensure continuity in bookkeeping, reporting, and accounting operations in the absence of the full-time manager.
Location: Victoria, BC (Hybrid – in office Tuesdays and Thursdays)
Start Date: Tentatively June 9 or the week after
Duration: 6–8 weeks (Medical leave coverage)
Pay Rate: $52–$60/hour
Schedule: Flexible – ideally Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (or 4 full days/week).
Parking: Included – attached garage with a designated parking pass

Qualifications
• Proven experience in an Accounting Manager or senior accounting role
• Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting and month-end procedures
• Familiar with Sage Intacct, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Microsuite
• Strong supervisory skills with ability to support and oversee an accounting assistant
• Able to step into an existing structure with minimal training using internal documentation
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
