Advantages
- Base Salary: $95,000 - $105,000
- Bonus: A discretionary bonus
- Health & Dental: Provided through Sunlife.
- RRSP/Pension: No plan currently in place, but it is under review.
- Vacation: 3 weeks
- Sick/Personal Days: 5 days annually.
- Professional Development: $1,500 per year for courses, and professional designation dues (CPA) are covered.

Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the full accounting cycle, including month-end and year-end close processes, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Lead the upcoming ERP transition from QuickBooks to Zoho, helping to create and implement dashboards and automate processes for greater efficiency.
- Work closely with the Director of Finance to prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure financial integrity and compliance.
- Support tax compliance and participate in financial audits, providing timely responses to inquiries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiencies.
Qualifications
- CPA designation is required, with 5+ years of experience in a full-cycle accounting role.
- Proven experience with ERP system transitions and implementations is a must.
- Highly skilled in Excel and proficient with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho, or similar).
- A strong understanding of ASPE is essential; knowledge of US GAAP is a plus.
- An excellent communicator who can work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience in the manufacturing or engineering industry is a strong asset.
