Responsibilities
Supporting reconciliations to the general ledger (GL)
Handling filings and payments for GST, PST, WCB, and EHT
Processing bank and cash deposits
Assisting with bank reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations
Timely submission of expense reports to the Controller
Supporting month-end and year-end journal entries
Managing full-cycle accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, account reconciliations, and reporting with precision and timeliness
Processing credit applications
Establishing and maintaining accounts, verifying and updating information for accuracy
Providing backup support and vacation coverage for accounts payable (A/P)
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
Familiarity with collection regulations and fair credit practices
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Experience with D365 preferred
