Responsibilities
Full-Cycle A/P Management: Oversee the complete accounts payable process, from receiving and matching invoices to processing payments via check, ACH, or wire transfers.
High-Volume Invoice Processing: Accurately review, code, and batch a large volume of vendor invoices in a fast-paced environment.
Data Analysis & Reconciliation: Utilize advanced Excel functions to reconcile accounts, audit statement discrepancies, and resolve invoice payment issues.
Deadline Management: Manage payment schedules effectively to meet strict weekly, monthly, and year-end financial deadlines.
Vendor & Internal Communication: Act as a main point of contact for vendor inquiries and collaborate with internal departments to resolve workflow roadblocks.
Qualifications
A/P Experience: Proven experience handling Accounts Payable in a large-volume office environment.
Full-Cycle Expertise: Strong knowledge of the entire A/P process (invoice matching, GL coding, approval routing, and payment execution).
Technical Proficiency:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, formulas) with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with AS400 or legacy ERP systems is a big asset.
Time Management: Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, handle pressure, and consistently meet firm time constraints.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
