A major player in the green energy sector is looking for an experienced Team Leader to oversee its shared accounting services operations. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, you will manage a team of 4 employees (Accounts Payable and General Accounting) across two locations. You’ll play a key role in process optimization and operational stability in a fast-growing environment.

Responsibilities
Lead and support the Accounts Payable and General Accounting team
Approve payments, validate key data, and oversee bank reconciliations
Participate in month-end processes and report preparation
Oversee cash application and intercompany billing
Supervise the processing of lease contracts
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
Act as a technical reference and people-focused leader
Contribute to special projects (e.g., system implementation, performance management)
Qualifications
Degree in accounting (Bachelor’s or College Diploma with equivalent experience)
7–10 years of experience in accounting team supervision
Proven ability to engage and lead teams effectively
Strong knowledge of core accounting operations (AP, GL, reconciliations, tax reporting)
Experience in high-volume, complex environments
Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems (an asset)
Strong communication and leadership skills
Fluency in French, functional English required
