Responsibilities
AR Processing: Generate and distribute invoices; post payments (EFT, credit card, cheque, and insurance remittances) accurately into the ERP system.
Reconciliation: Maintain the AR ledger across multiple locations and reconcile the sub-ledger to the general ledger.
Collections Support: Proactively monitor overdue accounts, follow up with customers and insurers, and coordinate with branch locations to resolve outstanding balances.
Account Maintenance: Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, short pays, and unapplied cash.
Support & Reporting: Assist with month-end/year-end closing and prepare aging reports for management review.
Qualifications
Education: Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable or accounting support role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Sage, NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, clear communication, and a customer-service-oriented mindset for dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
