Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Accounting & Closes: Manages end-to-end branch accounting, including AP/AR oversight, revenue recognition, accruals, reconciliations, and month-, quarter-, and year-end close processes.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Owns branch-level P&Ls and balance sheets, analyzing monthly statements and variances to provide actionable insights to management.
- Tax & Audit Compliance: Oversees multi-jurisdiction U.S. sales tax filings, monitors regulatory changes, and serves as a key point of contact for external auditors.
- Inventory & Operations Partnership: Reconciles inventory, investigates shrink and margin discrepancies, and partners with operations to strengthen financial controls and processes.
- Process Improvement & Mentorship: Drives efficiency through system and procedure enhancements, leads ad hoc projects, and provides informal guidance to junior team members.
Qualifications
- Accounting certificate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
- A minimum of 3–5 years of full-cycle accounting experience
- Experience working in a multi-entity environment
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail and a structured personality
