Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture & IaC Implementation: Use automated provisioning tools to deploy, configure, and maintain database infrastructures within an AWS cloud ecosystem.
Application Server Management: Take full ownership of the lifecycle management, design, fine-tuning, and evolution of Oracle Fusion Middleware (OFM Forms/Reports server) deployed on cloud infrastructure.
Operations & Incident Management: Serve as the primary technical contact for day-to-day operations, including troubleshooting incidents, deploying patches (PSUs), upgrading systems, and processing change requests.
Hybrid Ecosystem Support: Maintain and optimize on-premise components and legacy systems, including content management tools, enterprise suites, recovery tools, and centralized management portals.
High Availability Enforcement: Monitor and optimize high-availability cluster setups and disaster recovery configurations to ensure maximum uptime.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a closely related field.
Core Experience: Minimum of 8 years of IT experience within the past 12 years, with at least 6 of those years focused specifically on infrastructure operations, technological implementations, or database administration.
Proven Track Record: Experience successfully delivering at least 3 high-impact database administration mandates (each exceeding 220 person-days) within the last 6 years in highly complex enterprise environments.
Technical Proficiencies:
Minimum of 1 year administering Oracle databases on Linux platforms utilizing Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, OEM, and performance tuning techniques.
Minimum of 3 years managing databases inside AWS using GIT, Terraform, Ansible, and key AWS cloud services under IaC methodologies.
Minimum of 2 years configuring and administering Oracle Fusion Middleware (Forms/Reports server) in high-availability environments.
