Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite, 5 days per week)
Work Requirements: Full-time onsite presence to foster collaboration and ensure team alignment; flexibility to support extended hours and weekend work is required during critical deployment events and cutover execution.
Contract Duration: Contract assignment length is determined by project milestones, with potential extensions based on remaining contract value, unused days, and operational necessity.

Responsibilities
Test Planning & Execution: Develop, review, and execute detailed test cases, scripts, and scenarios across Functional, SIT, End-to-End (E2E), Regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.
Business Process Validation: Validate complex retail workflows across Order Management, Inventory, Warehouse Operations, POS Transactions, Pricing, Promotions, Product Management, and Fulfillment cycles.
Defect Management: Log, track, prioritize, and retest defects using Jira; conduct root cause analysis and collaborate with developers, BAs, and vendors to ensure rapid remediation.
Triage & Quality Assessments: Participate actively in test readiness reviews and daily defect triage sessions, providing clear reproduction steps and evidence for defect resolution.
Collaboration & Status Reporting: Participate in daily stand-ups, provide execution status updates, assist with test metrics documentation, and support final post-deployment verification activities.
Qualifications
Must-Haves & Mandatory Requirements:
5+ years of experience in software testing within large enterprise environments.
3+ years of dedicated Retail Industry experience, including knowledge of operational cycles, peak periods, and seasonal testing variables.
Hands-on testing experience with one or more of the following platforms: SAP (S4 Hana, BTP), Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM), Blue Yonder (BY) product suite, or GK POS.
Strong, demonstrated expertise in Test Execution, Defect Management, Jira, End-to-End testing, Integration testing, and UAT.
Superior analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline.
Preferred & Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience working within Agile, Hybrid Agile, or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
Familiarity with ServiceNow, test management applications, and release management processes.
Exposure to enterprise integrations, middleware platforms, supply chain management, and omnichannel merchandising systems.
Experience supporting test automation tools and frameworks is considered an asset.
