Responsibilities
QA Strategy & Planning: Adhere to established QA methodologies and develop detailed QA plans for IT capital projects and operating initiatives.
Documentation Review: Audit project charters, solution architectures, and business requirements to ensure the delivery approach is aligned with the project scope.
Test Development: Create and maintain comprehensive test scripts for SAP projects, covering system functional, non-functional, and regression scenarios.
Execution & Defect Management: Execute test scripts, record discrepancies, and manage the full defect lifecycle—from reporting to retesting and closure.
RTM Oversight: Review and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM) to ensure 100% test coverage of approved business requirements and architecture.
Testing Facilitation: Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders and coordinate non-functional/regression testing sessions.
Training Support: Assist with SAP End-User Training and provide clear technical guidance to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of software testing experience, with a strong preference for candidates with specific expertise in SAP Time and Attendance.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Technical Tools: Familiarity with SAP testing and management tools such as Azure DevOps and Tricentis (Tosca) is a significant asset.
Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of time management processes, labor compliance, and payroll integration.
Sector Background: Previous experience in the Public Service or Transit industry is highly desirable.
Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and communication skills; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and present findings clearly to project leadership.
