As a senior tester, you will act as a critical bridge between technical development teams, functional analysts, and business stakeholders. Operating entirely onsite, you will validate system integrations, manage complete defect lifecycles, and perform structured regression and user acceptance testing to ensure high-performance software delivery within an fast-paced Agile framework.

Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Execution: Develop, review, and execute rigorous test cases, scripts, and comprehensive scenarios across complex retail system environments.
Full-Lifecycle Testing: Lead and support multi-tier validation cycles, including Functional, System Integration Testing (SIT), End-to-End (E2E), Regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Defect Lifecycle Governance: Document, track, prioritize, and retest software bugs using enterprise management tools, ensuring all defects contain clear reproduction steps and evidentiary logs.
Root Cause Analysis: Participate actively in defect triage forums, conducting root-cause analysis and assisting with defect trend reporting alongside developers and business analysts.
Business Process Validation: Validate integrated data workflows across critical operational streams, including Order Management, Point of Sale (POS) Transactions, Inventory Management, Pricing, and Fulfillment.
Environment Coordination: Support release validation, test readiness assessments, and post-deployment verification activities to confirm stable production deployment.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional technical teams, business units, and third-party software vendors to align testing timelines with core release cycles.
Metrics & Analytics Reporting: Participate in daily stand-up status meetings, providing clear execution updates, metrics reporting, and testing documentation.
Qualifications
Core Technical Requirements
Professional QA Tenure: Minimum of 5+ years of dedicated software testing experience within large enterprise-tier environments.
Retail Domain Expertise: 3+ years of specialized testing experience within the retail sector, demonstrating a strong understanding of POS systems, store operations, and peak seasonal business cycles.
Specialized Platform Knowledge: Hands-on experience executing test operations within one or more of the following environments: SAP, Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM), Blue Yonder (BY) product suite, or GK POS.
Methodology & Tooling: Deep proficiency running end-to-end integration cycles, regression testing, and UAT utilizing Jira for active defect management.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
Preferred Capabilities
Delivery Frameworks: Comfortable operating smoothly inside Agile, Hybrid Agile, or traditional Waterfall project delivery frameworks.
Ecosystem Familiarity: Functional exposure to service desks (such as ServiceNow), advanced test management tools, middleware integration platforms, or omnichannel supply chains.
Automation Awareness: Foundational exposure to automated software testing tools and frameworks is considered a strong asset but is not mandatory.
Professional Soft Skills
Analytical Problem Solving: Superior troubleshooting, critical thinking, and analytical abilities to isolate software defects across heavily integrated applications.
Communication & Coordination: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to coordinate testing tasks among technical developers and non-technical business partners.
