Responsibilities
•Conduct quality assurance checks on AML/ATF investigation activities
•Evaluate and document ML/TF risks in compliance with Canadian AML regulations
•Perform trend and gap analysis and deliver findings to management
•Maintain and develop AML QA policies, procedures, and documentation
•Support internal audits and regulatory compliance reviews
•Exercise judgment in decision-making and prioritize tasks against SLA metrics
•Act as a subject matter expert within quality control and contribute to team development
•Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed
•Promote and uphold a strong culture of risk and compliance
Qualifications
Must Have:
•4–8 years of experience in AML investigations, with at least 1 year of STR filing
•Deep understanding of the PCMLTFA and other applicable regulations
•Proven ability to assess complex ML/TF risks and document findings clearly
•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data manipulation, formulas, sorting) and Office Suite
•Tech-savvy and capable of quickly learning internal tools and systems
•Strong judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information
Nice to Have:
•Prior AML QA/QC experience
•Previous exposure to TD Bank systems or processes
•General banking experience
•ACAMS certification (an asset)
