This role requires an analytical expert with exceptional stakeholder-influence skills, a proactive strategic mind, and a deep risk-and-control background. You will act as a key liaison to translate complex business requirements into actionable data logic, implementing modern automation frameworks to mitigate operational, regulatory, and reputational risk across large, multifaceted data structures.
Duration: 1-Year Contract (Possibility of extension and permanent conversion based on performance and business requirements)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days per week on-site at the corporate office, 2 days remote)
Advantages
Tier-1 Financial System Footprint: Manage master reference data assets governing thousands of active entity records for a market-leading global wholesale banking engine.
Modern Cloud & Analytics Toolset: Leverage cutting-edge analytics sandboxes including Databricks, Python automation frameworks, and Dremio SQL execution engines.

Complex Data Profiling: Lead complex data remediation and deep-dive analytical workflows across large, highly disparate structured and unstructured capital markets datasets to enforce rigid enterprise standards.
Data Quality Governance: Drive data quality improvements and control frameworks. Proactively identify data discrepancies, structural anomalies, and validation gaps to neutralize operational and regulatory risks.
Logic Translation: Translate sophisticated business rules into actionable, downstream data logic, ensuring seamless alignment between enterprise governance policies and real-world consumption needs.
Strategy, Automation, and Team Mentorship
Process Automation: Architect, code, and deploy lightweight automation scripts using Python and SQL to streamline data-cleansing pipelines, remove manual engineering friction, and boost control metrics.
Domain Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the definitive Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Party & Account data domains, providing structural troubleshooting support and guiding the onboarding of new data consumers.
Stakeholder Advisory: Partner across distributed operations, engineering, and Chief Data Office (CDO) teams to advise on macro data strategy decisions, balancing capacity across concurrent project workstreams.
Performance Leadership: Produce executive dashboards, risk trends, and status readouts to inform senior steering committees. Mentor, train, and share industry best practices with junior data analysts to encourage a collaborative, high-performance culture.
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of progressive professional experience operating as a Senior Data Analyst, Data Governance Specialist, or Business Intelligence Engineer within a large enterprise or banking infrastructure.
Capital Markets Domain Acuity: Deep foundational understanding of Capital Markets and client/reference data domains, including complex corporate ownership hierarchies, legal entity profiling, and master data management principles.

Advanced Technical Tool Stack: Expert-level mastery parsing large scale datasets using SQL (specifically inside Dremio architectures), Python, and Databricks, backed by advanced analytical processing in Microsoft Excel.
Project Execution & Soft Skills: Highly developed communication and storytelling skills, with an innate ability to articulate complex database or architectural dependencies into simplified business prose. A self-motivated self-starter showing deep ownership, strict time-management, and structural negotiation skills to influence matrixed business units without direct formal authority.
