Responsibilities
- Analyze financial performance (revenue, costs, margins, profitability, KPIs) by department or business unit
- Participate in budgeting, financial forecasting, and long-term planning processes
- Produce and maintain financial performance dashboards
- Conduct variance analyses between actual results, budget, and forecasts, and explain the reasons
- Support strategic decisions through profitability analyses, financial models, and scenarios
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and performance improvement
- Participate in cross-functional projects with financial and operational impact
Qualifications
- Degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- CPA certification or equivalent, a major asset
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Advanced Excel (Search V, Pivot Tables)
- Knowledge of ERP and BI tools
