Responsibilities
Requirements & Process Engineering: Elicit, articulate, and document complex business rules, functional needs, and data mapping in close synergy with Enterprise/Business Architects.
Data Modeling & Optimization: Lead process mapping and data modeling activities to replace legacy tools and support corporate data valorization.
Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in SAFe/Agile ceremonies, coordinating tasks and delivery milestones across cross-functional teams.
Stakeholder Facilitation: Design and lead interactive discovery workshops, validation sessions, and change management discussions with key business partners.
Strategic Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor—constructively challenging existing norms, managing evolving priorities, and recommending high-value solutions.
Cross-Functional Liaison: Ensure seamless, bilingual communication between operational finance units, technical data groups, and IT leads.
Qualifications
Experience: 7+ years of dedicated Senior Business Analysis experience focusing on Business Intelligence (BI), enterprise data solutions, or core financial systems.
Domain Expertise: Prior experience in financial, accounting, banking, or insurance environments. Proven participation in at least one enterprise data warehouse implementation.
Technical & Analytical Mastery: Solid grasp of data architecture concepts, process mapping, and data flow modeling. Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Azure DevOps, HOPEX, or Oracle ERP Cloud is a strong asset.
Agile Proficiency: Practical knowledge of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and Scrum methodologies.
Soft Skills: Outstanding diplomacy, leadership, workshop facilitation, and the agility to navigate ambiguity and rapid priority shifts. Actuarial exposure is a significant plus.
Language Requirements: Advanced bilingualism in French and English (written and spoken).
Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to interact with centralized internal departments (e.g., Operations / HR / Finance / Legal / Contracts / Sales) that support the organization in Canada and that do not speak French.
