Responsibilities
• Process and accurately enter vendor invoices into the Quickbooks online.
• Prepare and process EFT and cheque payment runs for suppliers in accordance with
established payment schedules.
• Create various miscellaneous billing invoices and credits that are issued to vendors
• Reconcile vendor statements, credit cards, investigate discrepancies, and resolve outstanding issues
to maintain accurate accounts payable records.
• Assist with year-end audit procedures and deliverables, working closely with the external
audit team.
• Maintain vendor records in QBO, including payment and banking information, while
ensuring that proper company policies and internal controls are followed.
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries regarding invoices, payments, account balances
and related accounts payable matters.
• Support month-end closing activities by verifying that all AP transactions are properly
posted in QBO prior to closing deadlines.
• Utilize QBO and Excel to manage accounts payable processes, data analysis, and reporting.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to streamline processes, resolve issues, and ensure efficient and accurate accounts
payable operations.
Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in AP an role
• Post secondary education in Accounting
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online is a requirement
