Responsibilities
Performing FCAW and MIG welding on structural components
Using air arc gouging tools for material prep and repairs
Working in tight, confined spaces where precision and agility are key
Handling physically demanding tasks including grinding, lifting, and moving materials
Following blueprints, safety protocols, and quality standards
Collaborating with a team to meet project timelines and production goals
Working consistent 10-hour shifts, with overtime opportunities
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-first shop floor
Qualifications
2nd or 3rd year welding apprenticeship
Strong experience with FCAW and MIG
Comfortable in labour-intensive environments
Ability to work in confined or awkward spaces
Prior experience with gouging is a big asset
Reliable transportation to Nisku
