In this role, the Architectural Technologist will provide essential support for the conceptualization and execution of both residential and commercial projects, preparing comprehensive working drawing packages and coordinating effectively with external consultants, various trades, and internal project teams. You will play a crucial part in the thorough documentation and successful delivery of technically intricate and visually compelling spaces.

Responsibilities
-Produce exhaustive construction drawing sets using AutoCAD, including floor plans, elevations, bespoke millwork details, cross-sections, and material specifications.
-Collaborate closely with Senior Designers, Project Leads, and Creative Directors to translate design concepts into precise technical documentation.
-Liaise with external consultants, building contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project implementation.
-Oversee or assist with on-site meetings, manage project documentation, and track construction progress.
-Develop and maintain project timelines, material records, and meeting minutes.
-Remain current with building code regulations, material innovations, technological advancements, and industry best practices.
-Actively participate in internal team discussions and contribute to fostering a culture of design excellence.
Qualifications
-A diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
-Over 5 years of practical experience in residential and commercial interior design or architectural projects.
-Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, coupled with practical knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
-A profound understanding of the Ontario Building Code (Parts 3 & 9) and construction detailing.
-Proven track record in managing multiple projects with evolving priorities.
-Familiarity with external references (XREFs) and layered CAD files.
-Experience utilizing Microsoft Office, Outlook, and project management platforms (e.g., MS Project).
-Exceptional communication and organizational capabilities.
-Capacity to perform autonomously or as a team member in a dynamic work environment.
-A genuine enthusiasm for architectural design, spatial reasoning, and producing exemplary design documentation.
