Responsibilities
- Select proper components for assembly.
- Assemble components according to customer specifications and engineering
instructions.
-Perform testing of assembled valves and maintain accurate records.
- Package assembled valves for shipping.
- Follow standard work practices, method sheets, and instructions.
- Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to Lean Manufacturing processes and
FEM requirements.
- Report damages or malfunctions of equipment and tools to the supervisor.
- Use appropriate safety equipment at all times.
- Adhere to company policies and safety rules.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
-3–5 years of experience in a mechanical assembly environment.
- Crane training is an asset.
- Knowledge of general assembly and testing processes.
- Ability to read blueprints/drawings and follow engineering instructions.
- Proficiency in using general assembly tools such as impact guns, torque
wrenches, etc.
- Experience using measuring equipment, including vernier calipers.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Assembly experience with pipe fittings is an asset.
