Responsibilities
- Build, fasten, and integrate high-quality mechanical components using power and manual tools.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and step-by-step engineering work orders.
- Measure parts precisely down to 1/16" to ensure accurate fitting and structural alignment.
- Conduct detailed quality control inspections on finished assemblies to spot and report defects.
- Maintain an orderly, safe workstation while hitting target production goals alongside your team.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience operating pneumatic tools, manual hand tools, and measurement equipment.
- Proven ability to accurately read measuring tapes (down to 1/16") and basic technical drawings.
- Solid physical stamina: comfortable standing for full shifts and lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong hand-eye coordination, acute attention to detail, and a focus on safety.
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and reliable personal transportation to Brantford.
