Responsibilities
- Precision Build & Assembly: Utilize pneumatic tools, power equipment, and manual hand tools to build mechanical components to exact standards.
- Drawing Interpretation: Read basic schematics, production orders, and technical specs to ensure accurate step-by-step assembly.
- Quality Verification: Conduct thorough visual inspections of completed parts to detect flaws, fit issues, or missing components.
- Safety & Workplace Care: Keep a tidy, organized workstation while strictly adhering to safety rules and OHSA standards.
Qualifications
- Background: At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, mechanical assembly, factory work, or warehousing.
- Technical Skills: Confident operating standard hand/power tools and reading basic assembly diagrams or work orders.
- Physical Demands: Able to stand throughout an 8-hour shift and lift 30–50 lbs safely.
- Work Ethic: Strong attendance track record, high attention to detail, and a commitment to safe workplace practices.
