Responsibilities
- Safely operate various manufacturing machines to produce high-quality parts, including cutting, shaping, and assembling metal or plastic components.
- Read and interpret basic technical drawings, work orders, and process sheets to setup and complete machining and assembly tasks.
- Perform detailed quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify finished products match technical blueprints and tight tolerances.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and perform basic machine maintenance to ensure smooth, safe operations.
- Strictly adhere to all health and safety policies, including wearing required PPE at all times.
- Partner with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot floor issues and improve daily workflow efficiency.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience suing hand tools, power tools, and strong mechanical aptitude.
- Attention to detail and a safety first mindset.
- Math skills and ability to interpret blueprints.
- Physically able to stand and lift up to 50lbs as needed.
