We are looking for a sharp and versatile Accounting Assistant to support our accounting department. This generalist role focuses on account management operations (invoicing, collections) and improving the accuracy and efficiency of processes within a dynamic professional services environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual eager to learn and grow.

Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable (AR) Support: Provide essential support for debt collection and participate in invoicing (preparation, review, and processing).
Accounts Payable (AP) Support: Assist the team with processing vendor invoices, expense reports, and payments.
Operational Support: Coordinate file opening processes and conflict searches.
Operational Accounting: Ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operational accounting tasks.
Qualifications
Experience: 1 to 3 years in an administrative, office, or operations role.
Accuracy: Strong focus on detail and numerical accuracy.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
Soft Skills: Proactive, resourceful, and willing to take ownership of tasks.
Education: Degree or training in Accounting (required or an asset, depending on context).
Languages: Bilingualism (French/English) is considered an asset.
