Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports in collaboration with the accounting and operational teams.
- Participate in the production of the closing package (P&L, balance sheets, analytical accounts, simplified cash flow).
- Conduct variance analysis (analytical investigations, transaction verification, discussions with operational teams to understand anomalies).
- Ensure overall budget consistency by comparing operational assumptions with financial data.
- Participate in the implementation of internal control procedures.
- Maintain and update advanced Excel models (VBA if necessary, pivot tables, automated reporting).
- Provide analytical support for strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- CPA designation in progress or recently obtained (an asset)
- 2 to 4 years of accounting experience, ideally in a corporate or firm setting
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; knowledge of an ERP system (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, etc.) is an asset
- Team spirit, autonomy, rigor, and willingness to learn
